PJ Spouses Appreciation Day

  • Tucson, AZ United States (map)

We’re excited to introducee a Guardian Angel Rescue Squadron Spouse’s Resiliency event. This first event is offered to all the PJ  Spouses within the 48th, 68th, and 306th Rescue Squadrons at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. Helping spouses navigate military life and deployments is something that is near and dear to our hearts.

The day will included up to 30 Spouses. They’ll begin with breakfast and discussion with the base Chaplain. Then proceed with a  Resiliency course facilitated throughout the day with a Certified Life Coach with extraordinary experience as a military veteran of 14 years, military spouse for 33 years, parent/student advocate and business owner 4 years, teacher/counselor for at-risk and learning disabled teens for 20+ years, military resilience facilitator for special operators, a grant writer, a storyteller, public speaker, and a firm believer of "Leadership by Example."

After a few hours of facilitated roundtable Q&A, discussion on deployment ebbs and flows, and guidance on how to deal with the PJ life while on active duty, the group will participate in an activity we know they’ll all enjoy. Taking care of the home front so our military members can do their job is our goal!
