Each member of this team of Pararescuemen (PJ) and Combat Rescue Officers (CRO) has endured nearly three years of intense training to achieve this moment. Graduation Day for these men means they officially don the Maroon Beret and take their place as some of the most incredible humans on the planet. They will be called upon to  save lives when and where others can’t. PJs are experts in personnel recovery and combat search and rescue. These Airmen earned their combined medical expertise with the strength and intelligence needed in combat or any other extreme rescue mission worldwide.
